Evening Roost Watch Wed
Watch the pied wagtails, egrets and marsh harriers arrive for their evening roost.
We are keeping the site open an extra hour tonight to allow visitors to watch birds come in for the evening roost.
Pied wagtails usually come in first, dropping down into the reedbed in small bunches - watch from the long path.
Look for marsh harriers over the reedbed from the hides and from the Long path. Egrets gather in trees near Ramsar hide, Sand martin hide and the Scrape hide.
When: Last admission 4.30 pm, grounds and visitor centre closes at 5.30 pm.
Cost: Regular admissions prices apply, WWT members are admitted free.
Where: The Lapwing hide, the Ramsar hide, The Sand Martin hide, The Scrape hide and the Reedbed Viewing Platform are open.
The Living Collection section of the site, the Reedbed boardwalk and the Willow Sphere will all close at 4.30 pm as usual.
Regular admissions prices apply. WWT members are admitted free.
