Robbie Garnett Hide
Several hundred Wigeon are still busy grazing across the Tack Piece with a few Pintail also mixed amongst them this morning. A pair of Oystercatcher were at the Holden Tower end of the scrape along with most of the Redshank - 54 birds were counted in all on the Tack Piece. Also present were 67 Curlew and a single Black-tailed Godwit.

The pair of Peregrine were on the cross fence and again seen mating. At least 145 White-fronted Geese and 156 Shelduck were on the Dumbles with a few Teal, Wigeon and 3 Curlew.
Rushy Hide
There were 133 Pintail present this morning along with a single Black-tailed Godwit on the back meadow, a pair of Oystercatcher and 3 Wigeon on the causeway, plus 24 Pochard, 52 Tufted Duck and a pair of Gadwall on the upper pond.
South Lake Hides
A colour-ringed Black-tailed Godwit was amongst the flock this morning, a returning bird we saw in 2017. The bird was ringed in Devon as a juvenile female in November 2013 and has also been seen in Northern France.
