Autumnal cranes
At this time of the year we tend to get regular visits by the local crane population. They become very mobile after the breeding season looking for good places to feed, showing the youngsters the wider area. They can turn up anywhere on site, from the North end at Friends hide, to the South end near the summer walk or even on Lady Fen to provide views from the visitor centre.
