All hides except Gill's Lookout are accessible to everyone today, including with mobility scooters. Water levels are continuing to drop. Lady Fen trails are now closed until after breeding season, but great views from cafe veranda. All roads including A1101 Welney Wash Road are open.

Christmas opening

Christmas is a busy time of year for us at WWT Welney, with wildlife and visitors. The only day of the year we are closed is Christmas Day. We have an evening feed as normal on Christmas Eve and we are open again from Boxing Day.

Between Boxing Day and Christmas Day we will be putting on some extra evening feeds and hare walks, see below for details:

Saturday 26 December - Friday 1 January:
12noon swan feed daily
2-3pm hare walk daily
3.30pm swan feed daily
6.30pm swan feed daily

We wish all our visitors over the festive period a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
