Swans on ice
The recent snow and freezing conditions have meant that the swans and ducks have started to take up the local tradition of Fen skating - here are a few images from yesterday out on the Ouse washes when we had a rare sunny day.
All hides except Gill's Lookout are accessible to everyone today, including with mobility scooters. Water levels are continuing to drop. Lady Fen trails are now closed until after breeding season, but great views from cafe veranda. All roads including A1101 Welney Wash Road are open.
