All hides except Gill's Lookout are accessible to everyone today, including with mobility scooters. Water levels are continuing to drop. Lady Fen trails are now closed until after breeding season, but great views from cafe veranda. All roads including A1101 Welney Wash Road are open.

Moth Survey Results

Moth Survey Results - This morning we carried out our final moth survey of the year, we will begin moth surveys again in March 2026.

Out of a total of 40 moths, 14 species were identified this morning. A selection of the moths are available to view in the shop today.
This was our final moth survey of the year, we will begin surveys again from March 2026.

This year we have recorded a total of 198 species of moth and 6893 individual moths, last year we recorded 209 species of moth but only 4622 moths overall.
