Water levels are starting to decrease on the reserve, but so far this morning all the activity has been around the visitor centre with the water vole out and about munching on reeds this morning on the front pond. Whilst large numbers of swifts with house martins and swallows mixed in are screaming through the air over the river. Also, the song thrushes were out around the car park earlier admiring the freshly cut grass.
