We managed to run our first bats & barn owl event over the weekend as it was rain-free and was very productive. We managed to observe three cranes at the back of Lady Fen at the start of the event, one of which had been trumpeting prior to the event starting. There was good pipisrelle activity around the visitor centre and the scent traps were loved by the moths with lots of dark arches, underwings and a herald. Visitors also caught a glimpses of hares on Lady Fen and there was alot of slug activity including a huge leopard slug!
