All hides except Gill's Lookout are accessible to everyone today, including with mobility scooters. Water levels are continuing to drop. Lady Fen trails are now closed until after breeding season, but great views from cafe veranda. All roads including A1101 Welney Wash Road are open.

Scarce chaser dragonfly - at least 3 at the dragonfly ponds/Reedbed hide area, these are one of the first species to emerge in summer, are only found in six main locations across Southern England and are only on the wing for the next month of two.  The Ouse Washes are a hotspot from this species, and our dragonfly ponds make them reaslly accessible.
