Today's sightings
Despite the fog today both warden walks managed to come across some hares on Lady Fen.
The evening feeds are becoming better with a greater number of swans in the floodlit area even if not needing to actually feed off the grain we are putting out. it is so mild at the moment that the migratory swans are finding it very easy to get food from the arable fields.
Evening feeds are also the best feed to spot ring numbers on the whooper swans, tonight Baldur and his family were present as well as the yellow ringed swans U5A, L6Z, Toby Two - L6L and a red ringed swan ABN, last seen when it was ringed in Iceland in August 2010.
