Last day of Wader Watch!
Wader sightings for today: Little Ringed Plover - 8 Ruff - 5 Dunlin - 4 Black-tailed Godwit - 5 Snipe - 1 Three Common Cranes were also spotted in front of the main observatory and a Hobby from Friends hide.

Curlew Sandpiper - 2 Cranes - 3 Ruff - 8 Common Sandpiper - 1 Green Sandpiper - 4 Ringed Plover - 4 Hobby - 2 Yellow Wagtail - 10 Snipe - 2 Black-Tailed Godwit - 6 Increasing numbers of Wigeon and Teal can be seen on the reserve pools.

Wader Watch
The pools are looking fantastic at the moment in anticipation of wader watch next week. A week long event to mark the passage of wading birds through the reserve. There will be daily tours each morning and experts on hand to help identify the birds.
