Can I bring a pushchair or buggy into the play area at WWT Castle Espie?

Yes, all of our trails and play areas are wide enough for pushchairs, buggies and wheelchairs.

Are there picnic tables where we can sit and eat at the play area at WWT Castle Espie?

Yes, we have lots of picnic benches next to the play tower in the woodland play area.

Are the play areas free at WWT Castle Espie?

Yes, the adventure play areas are included free as part of your entry ticket or membership and can be enjoyed during opening hours.

Is the play area at WWT Castle Espie suitable for pre-school children?

Yes, we have a variety of play spaces that are suitable for younger children including pre-schoolers. The Scrabo play tower in our woodland play area is more suited for older children age 7+. Our indoor soft play area is exclusively for explorers under 115cm tall and includes arctic-themed slides, a hide and seek fox's den, a giant nest and arctic animal rockers.
